But the downside is is at the end of the show, and after that you’re like wait, I want to do it again.” I was saying to the band the other night, you know, I so look forward to ‘The Trial,’ right because in ‘The Trial’ there’s just so much emotion and so many attributes involved with it. It really is a fascinating thing to watch,” Rogoff said. “I found myself at every single show going out and sitting sitting somewhere in the seat and watching because it’s that entertaining. ![]() And I mean, just the emotion and the theatrics. © Contributed Bass player Van Hollingsworth will provide much of the lead vocals for Black Jacket Symphony’s performance of Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Patrick Himef has Gilmore’s vocals for BJS, and bass player Van Hollingsworth crushes the Waters vocals, Rogoff said. “When you think of Pink Floyd, you typically kind of think David Gilmore lead vocal, but really Roger Waters on this one is the primary,” Rogoff said. Of course, a huge part of recreating “The Wall” is getting the vocals just right. ![]() It’s something that we’re super proud of, and I think is a great return to the theater and a great return for people to to come and see and be entertained.” ![]() “And I can honestly and sincerely say it is one of the best, if not the best, shows we’ve ever done,” Rogoff said. “The band is just firing on all cylinders. ![]() Man what a show it is,” Rogoff said.ĭuring Black Jacket’s hiatus, Rogoff said the band really dialed in the performances. This show was originally set to appear at MPAC in April of 2020, Rogoff said. Technically BJS debuted it over the summer in Pennsylvania, but it made its theater debut two weeks ago in Lexington, Kentucky.
